BOSSFM LAUNCHES NEW BRANDING & PROGRAMMING WITH LOGO, WEBSITE AND MOBILE APP REFRESH
ATLANTA – BossFM, the digital radio network that was launched officially June (Summer) 2014, by a group of millennial radio professionals that were fed up with nonsense-driven terrestrial programming has officially been refreshed. Debuting a new logo, website and mobile application, the network has it’s sights set on connecting with new listeners that are also no longer interested in the status quo.
In 2014, BossFM acquired Vibe 105, the world’s first ‘hip-pop’ station and in July 2015 rebranded Vibe 105 to “Hits1” – a name synonymous with the vision to fuse Hip-Hop & Pop together, playing only the hits. Since the name change, the station now boasts nearly 100,000 weekly listeners. Conjunctively, BossFM’s “The Hashtag” which follows urban trends & pop culture by the hour has green lit The ShakeUp Morning Show for Season 2, which began September 8th and additionally added new programs to supplement air gaps.
September also debuts the launch of the syndicated Sam Collier Radio Show, while October boasts the launch of two new talk shows and four new radio channels, first premiering a talk radio genre that has not yet been tapped – “millennial talk” with a focus on urban & political issues, and second offering radio channels that connect directly with pulse of the millennial life.
All new BossFM branding becomes available on September 16th and will be carefully rolled out to all BossFM platforms and affiliates.
